Walking holiday in Thy
Ocean, wind, sand, and salt have all played a part in the creation of that distinct nature found in National Park Thy. Here you can hike, sense and free your mind in the company of a good friend or your partner.
If you are lucky, you might get a glimpse of a red deer, a crane, a sand lizard, or an ensian bluebird. The darkness allows a view of the stars while the silence shapes the perfect setting for contemplation and being present in the moment.
The North Sea trail (Redningsvejen) runs behind the dunes by the sea from Agger Tange in the south to Bulbjerg in the North. The trail passes by old fishing communities, landing areas, and Lodbjerg lighthouse. It represents a strong culture-historical narrative about life along the coast. In the old days, locals used the trail to get to distressed ships and stranded seafarers who crossed paths with the dangerous waters along the coast.
